So Im on this rant or kick or something at the moment with lots of thinking and one of those things that always pops up into my mind is why did I start Second Life or what brought me here.
This could be a long one so you might want to get settled in….maybe?
Thing is I have thought about this for a long time its something that is possibly always on my mind in one way or the other.
Well initially I started SL because I saw a program on television about it and it looked like a lot of fun….but I lost interest in it being young and SL being new so I forgot all about it and there is no way I can even begin to remember what my log in was back then.
Fast Forward 8 years and I was drawn back to it it looked amazing…I think I saw an ad for it and thought oh yeah I remember this lets see how its progressed.
Well it had progressed big time and I haven’t looked back, but onto what drew me here the second time.
I saw this as an opportunity to be able to spend time with a dear dear friend that just so happened to live in another country and it seemed like an amazing way to enjoy time together doing fun stuff…and the way SL was set out we could do things that we would never get the opportunity to do in real life. Go to clubs go to different countries explore and experience things even in a virtual world which may seem odd to some but to us was just a way to be amazing friends.
I will always remember that SL can bring together people who are worlds away.
